Natamycin(E235) is a natural anti-fungal product which is produced by a pure culture of Streptomyces spp.following a strictly controlled fermentation process.Natamycin inhibits not only the growth of various moulds and yeasts,but also the production of their toxins.It can greatly extend the shelf-life of cheese,baked food,meat and beverage products. |

User's Guide |
a. Dipping the cheese in 500mg/L natamycin suspension for 2 minutes can extend the shelf life without affecting the natural ripenng of cheese. b. Spraying the suspension of natamycin with 500mg/L on the surface of baked food or mooncake,it will extend the shelf-life effectively. c. Adding 5-10mg/L of natamycin in brewed wine could inhibit the fermentation caused by yeasts in order to extend the shel-life. |

Food Industry: Dairy: Cheese surface sprayed with 0.05-0.28% suspension to inhibit mold growth. Meat products: dry sausages soaked in 200ppm suspension to reduce the risk of spoilage. Beverage: Add 10-50ppm to fruit juice to prevent yeast contamination. Cosmetic industry: Hair care products: anti-dandruff shampoos (e.g. patented formula containing 16mg/ml Natamycin) inhibit Malassezia. Skin care products: add 0.1-0.5% in cream to prevent mold growth (need to comply with the 《catalog of used cosmetic raw materials》). Other fields: Feed mold prevention: add 50-200ppm to extend the storage period. Textile industry: fabric soaking treatment to prevent mold (such as cotton and linen products). |
